Job Summary: 

  • Mass Media: develops the strategy and executes on creative and campaign measurement

  • Social Media management

  • Brand management: responsible for strategy, positioning tools and audience segmentation, partnerships and sponsorships

  • Sponsorship and Partner Activations

  • Oversees departmental:

    • budget

    • Media reporting metrics

    • promotional calendar

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationship with media/creative agency to develop, plan and execute media strategy and creative assets for Texas and East markets to meet awareness, engagement, and lead generation goals

  • Own strategic development of branding tools/resources: positioning, devices, platform, personas, and audience target/segmentation

  • Responsible for budget and agency contract management

  • Oversee creative development and execution for charitable program deliverables

  • Oversee creative development and execution for sponsorships and partners

  • Supervise branded content development for social channels and company blog

  • Manage Social media activity

  • Deliver relevant campaign reports and present insights to keep larger organization abreast of trends and activities

  • Monitor marketing output and provide recommendations for optimal user engagement, including changes to priority, design, content, structure, and functionality

  • Oversee team building and staff development

  • Align team goals with company goals

  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Working Conditions:

  • Remote position with some in-office attendance required

  • Some overtime required as special projects arise

  • 5-10% travel

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 7+ years consumer marketing, brand management, advertising

  • Proven experience as a team player and organizational leader

  • Excellent relationship-building & interpersonal skills; collaborate across departments and organizations

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Superior verbal and written communications skills

  • Superior project management experience

  • Flexible and adaptable to a rapidly changing, fast-paced business environment

 

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Energy industry experience is preferred but not required

  • Experience with subscription-based industry (electricity, cable, internet, etc.) is a plus
