The Role:
The Manager of Data Analytics & Quality Assurance supports the Ethics & Compliance team by developing and maintaining data solutions, dashboards, and visuals that identify risks and trends based on key risk indicators (KRIs). This position is responsible for writing advanced SQL queries, leveraging Python for automation and analysis, optimizing business processes, and analyzing data trends to discover opportunities for improvement.
What you will be working on:
- Apply statistical models, analytical techniques, and industry knowledge to develop creative solutions for complex problems.
- Architect reusable data sources and write advanced SQL queries and stored procedures to support compliance KRIs.
- Utilize Python to develop and refine machine learning models to predict and flag potential compliance issues based on KRIs.
- Use Tableau to create and maintain accurate dashboards that enable stakeholders to track performance and identify risks.
- Conduct quality assurance, performance testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality reporting.
- Develop automated solutions for repetitive tasks to increase efficiency.
- Prepare executive-level presentations to share findings and recommend actionable improvements.
- Collaborate with the IT team to triage and resolve data issues swiftly.
- Manage department projects and work with business stakeholders to ensure project work stays on track.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, leveraging methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Effectively manage shifting priorities and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Who you will work with:
This role will report directly to the Senior Director of Compliance and interact daily with Compliance department leadership and the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer. You will also work with cross-functional teams across both energy and smart home to help design and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
What we’re looking for:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced SQL skills with experience working with large, complex datasets (Snowflake a plus).
- Strong Python skills for data analysis, automation, and process optimization.
- Proven experience with data visualization tools (Tableau preferred) to design impactful dashboards.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes using Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present technical data to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage complex projects with multiple touchpoints and collaborate across functions.
- Self-starter who identifies opportunities for improvement and drives discussions to completion.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and reliable results.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of work experience in data analytics, data science, project management, or a similar role.
- Advanced SQL experience (Snowflake a plus).
- 6+ months of experience in data visualization (Tableau preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with statistical methods, such as T-tests, ANOVA, confidence intervals, and regression.
Preferred:
- 6+ months of Python experience for data analysis or process improvement.
- Experience with project management principles or methodologies (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or equivalent).

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
