About the Role

We are looking for a visionary and customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager to lead the convergence of Smart Energy and Smart Home technologies through our mobile app. In this role, you will shape the future of how users interact with their energy ecosystem—empowering them to monitor, control, and optimize their energy usage in intuitive, delightful ways.

You’ll be at the forefront of designing seamless, personalized, and engaging digital experiences that integrate smart thermostats, solar panels, EV chargers, battery storage, and home automation systems into a unified platform.

 


Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Experience Leadership
    • Own the end-to-end customer journey within the app, ensuring a frictionless, engaging, and empowering experience.
    • Translate complex energy data into simple, actionable insights for everyday users
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap
    • Define and execute the product roadmap for Smart Energy + Smart Home integration, with a mobile-first mindset.
    • Prioritize features that drive user engagement, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with UX/UI designers, mobile engineers, data scientists, and IoT teams to deliver high-quality app experiences.
    • Partner with marketing, customer support, and analytics to drive adoption and retention.
  • Voice of the Customer
    • Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to deeply understand customer needs and behaviors.
    • Champion the customer perspective in all product decisions.
  • Innovation & Differentiation
    • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and personalization to enhance the smart home energy experience.
    • Stay ahead of trends in home energy management, smart devices, and consumer tech.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on mobile apps or consumer-facing platforms.
  • Experience in the energy, smart home, or IoT space is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design, mobile UX, and behavioral engagement strategies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver impactful digital products.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or design-related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with smart home ecosystems (e.g., Matter, HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home).
  • Experience with energy data platforms, DERs, or utility integrations.
  • Knowledge of mobile analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase).
  • Passion for sustainability, clean energy, and empowering users to make smarter energy choices.
