Primary Responsibilities:
- P&L responsibility across multiple product lines; i.e., revenue, product cost, quality and install
- Analyze core and adjacent markets, developing strategies for growth and driving go to market strategy
- Defining each market by the channel and distribution
- Able to lay out pricing landscape by market and creating cost recommendations
- Participate in the Phase Gate process to ensure organization alignment
- Analyze products through the Product Life Cycle process and make strategy recommendations into each phase
- Define messaging for New Product Introductions that resonate with consumers that can be passed to Marketing Communication
- Develop and execute customer-centric GTM plans to bring new products to market
- Identify customer path-to-purchase journeys and developing plans that meet customers where they are
- Identify customer jobs-to-be-done and segmentation and bringing those learnings into the product development process
Required Skills:
- Able to define market segments by price point, channels, distribution, share and decision factors
- Analyze P&L and identify factors that influence growth and profitability
- Familiar with a Phase Gate process
- Able to work cross department between Product Development, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance and Sales
- Strong critical thinking skills, with an ability to identify trends in financial data and develop creative solutions to address negative trends
Required Education/Experience:
- 5+ years of marketing experience in a B2C model
- Bachelor’s degree in relative field
- Successful track record of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Change is constant at Vivint.
- Experience developing and executing customer-centric GTM plans to bring new products to market
- Experience identifying customer path-to-purchase journeys and developing plans that meet customers where they are
- Experience with identifying customer jobs-to-be-done and segmentation and bringing those learnings into the product development process
