Job Summary: 

 

  • As a member of our highly effective investor relations team, you will, in-part, be responsible for developing effective marketing materials and scripts, while maintaining focus on the research, presentation, and communications needs of the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and other senior executives. This unique position will allow the successful candidate to build strong relationships across the organization and support the development of key NRG messaging to the investment community.

 

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Participate in crafting, articulating, and executing NRG’s investor relations strategy

  • Contribute to the development of strategic communications with the investment community

  • Prepare and execute quarterly earnings; including earnings presentation, press release, scripts, and Q&A materials

  • Lead and execute ad-hoc projects

  • Plan and coordinate investor meetings; including roadshows, office visits, and Investor Days

  • Digest industry and competitive news and collaborate with key leaders to promptly address both internal and external stakeholder questions

  • Follow and circulate relevant NRG and peer related news and review analyst notes

 

 

Working Conditions:

 

  • Open office environment

  • Hybrid work scheduled with 3 days in office. 

  • Extended hours and moderate travel may be required

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience; including investor relations, financial analysis, marketing, communications, securities law, and/or regulatory

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, communications 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Knowledge of the consumer industry preferred

 

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Superb verbal, written, and communication skills

  • Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office Applications including PowerPoint and Excel

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships

  • Attention to detail and proven analytical and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision / self-starter

 

 

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Majority of work performed on a personal computer in a seated position
