Job Summary:
We currently have an opportunity for a Risk Analyst that under general supervision provides support in establishing, maintaining, and monitoring Collateral with counterparties in energy related markets.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform margining activities and exposure reporting to credit, commercial and senior management
- Monitor, investigate and report disputes with counterparties on valuation of positions
- Ensure credit system is updated daily and contains robust information
- Analyze and reconcile positions and collateral for all counterparty and all exchange positions
- Identify and develop key performance indicators
- Participate in technology initiatives to improve operations, risk calculations and reporting
- Communicate relevant collateral information and update reports
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, statistics, economics, or business administration.
- Knowledge and experience with Exchange clearing market operations preferred
- Three to Five years of experience in risk management, collateral management, or financial analysis preferred
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate technical aspects of analysis and metrics into actionable items
- Advanced demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of ISO markets
- Prior experience in energy markets
Preferred Qualifications:
- A master’s degree is a plus
- Knowledge of Power BI is a plus
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong writing and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid attention to details, with the capability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid work environment with 3 days per week in office and 2 days remote - Hybrid to Princeton or Houston
- Open office environment.
- Some overtime required as special projects arise.
- Highly flexible and fast-paced environment

The base salary range for this position is: $69,600 - $125,280* *The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition the position may be eligible to participate in the benefits program which include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending accounts.
