Job Summary: 

Join a dynamic and innovative team as we work to grow digital sales for the Green Mountain Energy brand.  This role will drive the strategy for the digital advertising campaigns (in particular paid digital efforts) while collaborating with our agency/media partners.  As part of the Digital Sales team, you will analyze sales, traffic, and conversion data and have a deep understanding of the online customer journey and sales funnel.  Additionally, this person will interact with several internal teams to help drive performance and value from our online channels.  Agency background experience/management is strongly preferred.  The ideal candidate will be thorough with attention to detail and accuracy, strategic, analytical, ambitious, self-motivated, and creative.  This position will report directly to the Director - Digital Management.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead paid lower funnel digital efforts for Green Mountain Energy company with the focus on sales count growth, conversion, and optimization.
  • Collaborate as point of contact with agency partners on strategy and execution of the Green Mountain Energy brand.
  • Work with various internal departments including marketing, analytics, innovation, and IT to drive performance across the sales funnel.
  • Provide analysis on a daily/weekly/monthly basis centered around campaign optimizations based on performance data.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables with stakeholders in service of expected campaign timeliness.


Working Conditions:

  • Remote work, but preferred Dallas or Houston.
  • Some overtime required as special projects arise.
  • Travel (minimal; approximately 6-8 times/year)


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-4+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or e-commerce


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agency experience strongly preferred, but not required
  • Agency management strongly preferred, but not required
  • Energy industry knowledge preferred


Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to comprehend digital marketing data and deliver business recommendations
  • Attention to detail and task management
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong Excel, PPT skills required
  • Knowledge and understanding of Analytics and Ad Management tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Campaign Manager, etc.)
