Job Summary: 

NRG’s East Digital Team is seeking an experienced Digital Analytics Manager to support digital analytics across several of its consumer brands. The Digital Analytics Manager is responsible for analyzing website and mobile app data, contributing to Digital strategy, and designing, implementing, monitoring, testing, and reporting on analytics. The candidate will use tools such as Adobe Analytics, Test & Target, Adobe Mobile Services, and Google Analytics to support all facets of the decision-making platform. He/she will also demonstrate the ability to work independently, drawing conclusions from complex data sets and communicating test results clearly to executives, manager and associates.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and test analytics via Adobe Analytics on web, mobile app or disjointed analytics data using and following a standardized SDR.
  • Maintain analytics implementation and reporting best practices across multiple websites and mobile apps.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to establish KPIs and related metrics for new products, site enhancements and site redesigns.
  • Deliver insights, manage and support site optimization efforts using Adobe Analytics, Test & Target, Adobe Audience Manager, and Adobe Launch; proactively analyze brands for areas of opportunities and actionable recommendations.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and support to digital and business initiatives; provide business case support for web/mobile app projects related to digital analytics.
  • Interface and collaborate with business and marketing managers to provide digital analytics support for web strategies and initiatives.
  • Perform quantitative analysis of digital analytics data, acquisition and retention performance, other site metrics, and more.
  • People Management of one analytics analyst.
  • Train and develop direct report on analytics reporting and implementation skill set.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Fully remote-based position.
  • Collaborative team work as well as heavily independent work tasks and projects.
  • Travel is minimal.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in digital analytics.
  • Minimum of either 3+ years of experience working with Adobe Analytics.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining business reports, performing ad hoc analysis, and delivering business recommendations.
  • Experience working with and reporting on digital analytics, financial/business reporting, and analysis.
  • Proven experience administering web-based analytics systems, creating report suites and designing SDRs.
  • Strong experience creating Adobe-based processing rules and classifications.
  • Strong experience in creating complex dashboards with sales funnels, flow paths, fallout charts, cohort tables.
  • Experience reading basic HTML.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of combined experience in digital analytics, consulting, web/mobile app analytics, metrics, and optimization based on analytics preferred.
  • 2-3 years of prior People Management/Training.
  • Proven ability in understanding key analytics topics related to adobe analytics such as evars.
  • Expertise in product string tracking and in general complex Adobe concepts such as data sources.
  • Ecommerce B2C Experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Google Analytics for digital analytics.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in field related to Business, Information Systems, Marketing, or similar.

 

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with Adobe Audience Manager and/or Google Analytics is a huge plus but not a substitute for the required Analytics experience.
  • Ability to work independently to meet multiple project deadlines; handle multiple tasks – switching priorities and focus as needed.
  • Ability to learn new software and concepts quickly; ability to learn and adapt to evolving conditions and fluid requirements.
  • Excellent oral, organizational and written communication skills; troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
