Summary:

NRG is a Fortune 500 company and leading energy supplier for millions of residential customers in the United States and Canada. In our East US region our largest sales acquisition channel is our Retail channel in which our sales agents meet customers while they are shopping at our many retail partner store locations. NRG works with several staffing partners to power our sales force and ensure we can cover our growing footprint of markets.  This position will learn sales, partnership relationship management, sales operations, and quality control, all in support of helping achieve our sales goals in a smooth and compliant manner for all prospective customers. The candidate will be part of the sales management team and will provide level one support for the myriad of things the team navigates on a daily basis to accomplish those goals.  We are seeking a detail-oriented Analyst to support our Sales Strategy team in managing various operational tasks and strategic initiatives. This role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless operations and fostering effective communication between our company and our vendors.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain dashboard modules for performance tracking
  • Assist with the rollout and management of new sales management platforms
  • Analyze product mix trends to optimize sales strategies
  • Manage vendor event schedules to ensure smooth execution
  • Generate and analyze sales reports for performance tracking
  • Support Sales Managers with vendor management and ad hoc requests related to reporting, analytics, and quality
  • Manage activation, deactivation, and creation of sales locations as per operational needs
  • Handle vendor order-related inquiries and ensure timely resolution
  • Assist with deep-dive data pulls on sales performance for strategic insights
  • Support quarterly business review (QBR) preparation and updates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on marketing campaigns and sales updates
  • Maintain vendor information in CRM platform
  • Conduct weekly audits of open tickets in CRM platform and follow up as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities (As Needed):

  • This role has the potential to expand to include support of vendor payfiles, reject processing and discrepancies through cross team collaboration with Retail Commissions and Corporate Operations

Qualifications:

  • 2 year associates degree or 4 year college degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Proven experience in sales operations, analytics, or similar roles
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in interpreting data and trends
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM or similar platforms preferred

 

Working Conditions:

  • Open office environment
  • Hybrid (1-2 days in office)
