Summary:
The Scheduler / Planner (Outage) position is intended for an individual with extensive experience and advanced subject matter knowledge in Power Plant maintenance and scheduling / planning of maintenance activities. This knowledge can be gained through prior experience or a combination of college/technical training and experience.

Required:

Preferred:
- Associates degree in a related field
- 5-7 years’ experience working in power plants
- Project Management experience is considered a plus.

- Demonstrated competencies relative to this position include accountability, adaptability/flexibility, building credibility, business acumen, customer focus, empowering others, gaining commitment, problem solving, shaping strategy, teamwork and tolerance for stress. Strong communications and leadership ability is essential to succeeding in this position.
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment and power plant environment.
- Frequent trips into the field and interaction with operations is necessary to ensure proper planning for work.
- Requires operation of a motor vehicle and a valid driver’s license in state of residency.
- Work overtime and non-standard working hours as required.
- Requires occasional travel outside service area.
- Requires wearing personal protective safety equipment (respirators, safety glasses, hard hat, appropriate footwear, ear plugs, etc.)
- May be required to work around rotating and energized equipment, hazardous materials and chemicals.
- Requires operation of a personal computer and knowledge of Microsoft Work Office Suite.
Please Note: Salary offered will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s education and/or experience and consistent with the job location’s market pay rate.
