As a member of the Talent and Culture organization at NRG, you’ll join a team focused on operational excellence, data integrity, and scalable hiring processes. We are building a world-class Employee Solutions function that supports business growth through strong systems, structured processes, and disciplined execution.

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will serve as the operational gatekeeper for position management, requisition creation, offer review, and hire data validation for a defined business area. This role is responsible for ensuring that position details, compensation ranges, and employment data are accurate and aligned to the approved position as the single source of truth.

This is a highly detail-oriented role. Success requires someone who genuinely enjoys reviewing the small details, understanding how minor discrepancies can create large downstream impacts across payroll, reporting, compliance, and workforce planning.

This role does not support onboarding tasks or interview scheduling.

What You’ll Do:
Position Management & Requisition Governance:
*Create and maintain positions in the system, ensuring alignment with approved headcount, job profiles, reporting structure, and compensation bands.
*Create and update requisitions with precise position, location, and compensation details.
*Ensure requisition data aligns to position records as the source of truth.
*Partner with recruiters, HR business partners, and workforce planning to correct discrepancies before postings or offers move forward.

Offer Review & Compensation Validation:
*Review offer approvals for a designated business area prior to issuance.
*Validate pay ranges against geographic differentials and compensation guidelines.
*Confirm offer details (title, level, reporting structure, FLSA status, location, start date, etc.) align with the approved position and requisition.
*Escalate inconsistencies or out-of-range compensation scenarios appropriately.

Hire Data Review & System Accuracy:
*Review all hire transactions to ensure employment data aligns with the approved position and offer details.
*Validate critical data elements including legal entity, cost center, manager hierarchy, job code, location, pay, and employment type.
*Serve as a quality control checkpoint prior to finalization in the system.
*Identify trends in recurring data errors and recommend process improvements.

Operational Excellence & Data Integrity:
*Maintain high standards for data accuracy and documentation.
*Collaborate with TA Operations, HRIS, Compensation, and Finance to resolve system or data issues.
*Support continuous improvement initiatives related to requisition workflows, position governance, and data accuracy.
*Document processes and contribute to standard operating procedures as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
*2–4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, HRIS, Compensation, or similar operational roles.
*Experience working within an ATS and/or HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors preferred).
*Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort reviewing data sets.
*Demonstrated ability to manage detailed, process-driven work with a high degree of accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications
*Experience in position management or headcount governance.
*Experience reviewing and auditing data
*Experience supporting high-volume or multi-location hiring environments.

Skills to Help You Thrive in this Role
*Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
*Strong analytical mindset with the ability to trace upstream and downstream system impacts.
*Comfort working within structured processes and governance models.
*Ability to identify discrepancies and proactively address inconsistencies.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills when partnering across functions.
*Ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
*Confidence to question data when something appears misaligned.

Working Conditions:
*Hybrid role based in Lehi, UT (In-office Monday–Thursday; Remote Friday).
*Minimal travel required.
*Primarily computer-based, sedentary work.
*Occasional schedule flexibility to support key hiring cycles or initiatives.
