Senior Material Planner (NRG Energy, Inc., Lehi, UT)

Provide IT subject matter expertise in Planning, Procurement, Quality Management, Warehousing, Inventory/Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, and Returns Management. Ensure functional solution architecture is in line with product guidelines and desired business outcomes. Architect and design solutions that resolve end-to-end business problems or processes and are in line with desired development and sustainability standards. Use formal system implementation methodologies including agile to facilitate work development and execution. Lead system enhancements and Complete configuration as needed for issue resolution and new developments. Work closely with business stakeholders to identify and resolve user issues and prioritize enhancement requests. Coordinate system updates releases and training with business stakeholders. Complete functional specifications for new developments. Coordinate closely with programmers to work on new code development for requested enhancements/programs and provide functional support for development activities. Perform development testing on system enhancements. Coordinate user acceptance testing for new system enhancements, feature updates and bug fixes. Prepare configuration documents for team cross training. Working closely with scrum team to create detailed project schedules and work plans for capacity planning and resource allocation. Coordinate release schedules of new enhancements with business stakeholders and cross functional technology teams. Provide end user training on SAP processes as needed. Work with related IT teams on integration support, enhancements, and testing. Coordinate with external business partners for integration development, support, testing, and enhancements including EDI Partners, Shipping Providers, etc. Build a positive, collaborative working environment that instills respect, trust, quality and success. Raise risks and issues to leadership on a timely basis and work with appropriate parties to create action plans. Partial telecommuting permitted; on-site at 3401 N Ashton Blvd., Lehi, Utah 84043 when not telecommuting. Salary: $117,936-$133,369.81 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant or any occupation, job title, position involving SAP system configuration and technical implementation for Supply Chain Management.

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant or any occupation, job title, position involving SAP system configuration and technical implementation for Supply Chain Management.

Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience with SAP ERP Solutions in Planning, Purchasing, Materials Management (MM), or Warehouse Management (WM) modules, including hands-on configuration and application of functional processes; 3 years of professional experience with Functional SAP in Supply Chain Management supporting and optimizing Supply Chain Management processes; 3 years of professional experience with SAP Configuration within MM/IM, purchasing, logistics, and related SAP modules; 3 years of professional experience supporting or implementing SAP system integration with internal or external systems; 3 years of professional experience in contributing to or leading project management activities within SAP or IT-related initiatives; 3 years of professional experience utilizing Microsoft Oce Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word in a business or technical capacity; 3 years of professional experience providing end-user support, training, or troubleshooting in an SAP environment; 3 years of professional experience drafting and preparing technical business documents; 3 years of professional experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Fiori mobile applications; and

3 years of professional experience aligning business requirements with standard SAP functionalities, supported by SAP implementation or support projects.
