Job Title: Senior Manager- GTM Lead, Demand Generation & Channel Strategy

Position Overview: The Senior Go-to-Market Strategy and Planning Manager will be a key member of our strategic planning team, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies that drive growth and profitability in the Texas region. This role will require a deep understanding of go-to-market disciplines, the Texas competitive energy market, consumer trends, as well as the ability to translate data and insights into actionable plans that drive results.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic growth lead for the Texas Consumer Energy organization by identifying sales growth & enablement opportunities, translating data & insights into actionable go-to-market strategies and leading execution with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, digital, product development, operations, pricing & margin management, and other key functional stakeholders to develop and align on integrated go-to-market plans that drive maximum impact in the market
  • Serve as a strategic growth partner for established sales channels, developing & implementing promotional campaigns, providing pricing influence, driving market & segmentation opportunities, identifying product needs and driving CX enhancements to create incrementality- Digital (.com, OA, LF), F2F (Retail, Realtor, D2D, Events), Call Center, Direct Mail
  • Initiate offer research, analysis, and product development for mass media campaigns, leveraging market research to inform market and segmentation priorities across all invest brands in the Texas region
  • Work in close collaboration with product development to ensure alignment and prioritization of new product deployments
  • Develop go-to-market plans to bring new products and programs to market for prospects
  • Collaborate with retention counterparts to develop cohesive and integrated GTM plans
  • Manage and optimize acquisition programs, e.g. Winback
  • Establish KPI’s and collaborate on reporting mechanisms to track the effectiveness of campaigns & growth initiatives in the Texas region
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership to communicate results, insights, and recommendations
  • Lead a team of managers and analysts that support strategic planning processes and priorities

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, economics, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in growth strategy, go-to-market planning, sales, marketing and/or business development roles, preferably in the electricity or energy industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies that drive revenue growth, channel and market expansion.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in market research and data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop compelling and visually engaging presentations that effectively communicate complex ideas, data, and strategic plans to diverse audiences, including senior executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of deregulated electricity markets, including regulatory frameworks, competitive dynamics, and customer segments, with specific knowledge of the Texas market preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively, anticipate market trends, and develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Results-oriented approach, with a focus on driving measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
