About the Role:

Texas is one of the most competitive retail electricity markets in the country, and our value brands (Discount Power, Cirro, Stream, and Xoom) compete on price, speed, and simplicity. As the go-to-market lead for these brands, you will own the strategy for how we generate demand and win new customers across every acquisition channel. You’ll turn market and customer insight into offers, campaigns, and channel plans, and you’ll work cross functionally to execute them.

What You'll Own:

Demand generation and channel strategy

  • Own the integrated acquisition plan across the value brands, translating customer, margin and growth targets into actionable brand, channel, offer and campaign plans.
  • Identify, size, and prioritize growth opportunities by segment, channel, and brand, using market research, competitive intelligence, and customer data.
  • Act as the strategic growth partner for acquisition channels: Digital (.com, online aggregators, lead-gen partners), Face-to-Face (retail, realtor, door-to-door, events), Call Center, and Direct Marketing.
  • Influence acquisition economics across channels, balancing growth, COA, conversion, margin and lifetime value through disciplined test and learn.
  • Design, launch, and optimize promotional campaigns and acquisition programs, including LTO’s, lead-gen/nurture, partnership and referral programs, win-back, and direct mail.

Offers and product go-to-market

  • Partner with Product Development to prioritize new products and own the go-to-market plan, from positioning through launch and post-launch performance.
  • Partner with Revenue Management to determine pricing and margin decisions informed by channel, segment, and customer insights

Customer quality and retention

  • Work with Retention to make sure acquisition strategies bring in customers who stay, with a specific focus on reducing first-90-day attrition.

Insights, measurement & communication

  • Identify opportunities for in depth research and analytical needs and spearhead strategy and execution of those studies.
  • Define KPIs and work with Analytics to build reporting that shows how your brands,  campaigns and channels are performing, and use those insights to refine plans.
  • Present results, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership in clear, decision-oriented formats.

What You'll Bring:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field (MBA a plus).
  • 8+ years in growth strategy, consulting, go-to-market planning, marketing, sales, or business development.
  • A track record of launching or scaling acquisition programs across multiple channels, with results you can quantify (e.g., customer growth, conversion lift, channel expansion).
  • Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience turning market research and performance data into decisions.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional partners without direct authority.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to build clear, compelling executive presentations.

Preferred

  • Experience in retail energy or another subscription/recurring-revenue, high-churn consumer category.
  • Working knowledge of deregulated electricity markets and the Texas (ERCOT) competitive landscape.
  • Experience managing multi-brand or value/discount brand portfolios.
