Job Summary:
- This position will be responsible for the Securitization program accounting and reporting. This includes preparing both daily and monthly reporting, providing explanations for variances or unusual items, monthly accounting entries, account reconciliations and providing information for external reporting. As well as a full range of Financial and operational analysis is support of the Retail Business units.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for running reports and gathering data for daily reporting to Treasury
- Responsible for running reports and gathering data for monthly securitization reporting to the banks
- Research and provide explanations for any unusual items or variances outside of tolerances.
- Responsible for recording monthly entries and reconciling all account under the SPV
- Responsible for coordinating annual audits and gathering data for samples and requests.
- Responsible for providing all data and analysis for external reporting and disclosures.
- Prepare and analyze monthly profitability for the Retail Business Units
- Interface in a variety of forums to research and obtain financial information relating to variance analysis
- Prepare monthly accounting entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting documents or schedules
- Maintain monthly data models to support the Retail Business Units
Working Conditions:
- Open office environment.
- Hybrid work schedule, 3 days in office, 2 days remote
- Some overtime required during the accounting close and as special projects arise.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor ‘s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university required
- 3-5 years of Accounting or Finance Experience
- Previous experience in the Power Industry preferred

- Proficient in advanced Excel skills
- Analytical skills and attention to details
- Organized, self-starter to meet daily reporting deadlines

- Capability to deal with internal and external customers in a competent and professional manner
- Independent thinker with the ability to analyze and evaluate revenue and accounts receivable data for accuracy and reasonableness.
