Job Summary: 

We are looking for an individual with a unique combination of skills; someone who is passionate about identifying what customers truly need and want, new trends and technologies, possesses the creativity to turn those ideas into a new product or service idea, is analytical, organized and structured to figure out what needs to get done to turn the ideas into reality, and fiercely driven to see those ideas through, including reporting and refinement post-launch.  This position will be reporting to a Manager in the Cross Serve and Core Product Development Team.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the market landscape; uncover and size areas of opportunity and drive products from idea to concept.

  • Evaluate customer needs and pain points and recommend appropriate solutions/products based on such needs/pains as well as industry trends.

  • Mapping out product experiences in different channels to identify any areas of opportunities or gaps.

  • Manage multiple requests for concept analysis and prioritize the activities based on established guiding principles.

  • Provide in depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions, and influence strategic product decisions.

  • Identify and communicate risk and impacts of proposed solutions along with risk mitigation options considering business implications of the application of the product concept.

  • Conduct research and generate insights, use-cases, and industry analyses to address potential future opportunities.

  • Provide support on requested tasks, organize tasks, communicate and proactively report performance and develop next steps. Shepherd product concepts thorough a well-defined evaluation process through clear presentation decks, timely meetings and clear communication with cross-functional teams.

  • Willingness to contribute to the greater team through collaboration, workload assistance when needed and knowledge sharing.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Open office environment.

  • <10% travel required.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 - 3 years of project/product management, marketing, communications experience.

  • Strong communications skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities.
