The Manager, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) will be responsible for developing and executing the automation strategy through the Pipeline and Delivery teams and promoting intelligent automation throughout the organization. The Manager, RPA is also responsible for articulating technology approaches to automation, demonstrating the value of the technology, and assisting business teams in identifying and valuing automation opportunities. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute Automation Program Strategy
  • Manage Automation Pipeline from process identification to intake and through documentation
  • Manage a diverse team of Analysts, Solution Architects, Developers, and Implementation partners
  • Manage delivery of all automation solutions:  currently including Unattended & Attended robots, Communications Mining, and Intelligent Document Processing but not limited to these solutions
  • Develop and track metrics and key performance indicators to support automation program
  • Act as Program Manager to manage budget, deliver program communications, and provide governance
  • Develop and manage Citizen Business Analyst Program:  Identify candidates, run training sessions, and support Citizen Business Analysts as necessary
  • Advocate & educate the business on Automation and manage both top-down and bottoms-up ideation efforts
  • Strategically target areas of the business and deliver Automation presentations to leadership
  • Host ideation sessions with targeted business teams to identify automation opportunities
  • Educate and mentor Business Analysts in automation documentation best practices
  • Stay current on new technology (within RPA, AI (Artificial Intelligence), and ML (Machine Learning)) in the market that could support the business solution requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Work Experience, Qualifications, & Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Self-motivated, with a process improvement mindset
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with demonstrated outside-the-box problem solving skills
  • Understands all the stages of the Automation Lifecycle and can clearly articulate that to stakeholders to ensure consistent communication
  • Strong presentation and communication skills – ability to communicate with influence and motivate audiences
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Customer focused
  • Ability to understand the big picture, and capable of also breaking down outcomes into smaller actionable steps
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of leadership
  • Continuous Improvement experience/background
  • Understanding and use of UI Path tools, or equivalent RPA tools
