Job Summary:   

 

We’re looking for a data‑driven and audience-focused Content Specialist to join our SEO & Content Marketing team. In this role, you will work closely with the SEO & Content Marketing leader and cross‑functional partners. The Content Specialist is responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing web content across multiple brands and site sections. This role focuses on daily content updates in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ensuring accuracy, freshness, and alignment with SEO best practices. The ideal candidate brings strong writing expertise, editorial attention to detail, and experience managing digital content within a CMS. 

 

This position works closely with cross‑functional partners—including Creative, Web, Brand, and Analytics—to coordinate SEO‑focused content initiatives and support campaigns that drive customer engagement across Texas and East regional markets. 

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Execute daily content updates in AEM including metadata, internal linking, on‑page copy edits and image attributes. 
  • Support comprehensive on‑page SEO optimization efforts to enhance visibility, engagement, and relevance. 
  • Refresh content across core site sections including customer content, product pages, comparison pages, community/CSR, partnerships & sponsorships, localized content and blogs. 
  • Maintain content quality by conducting accuracy checks, proofreading, and ensuring compliance with brand and SEO guidelines. 
  • Partner with Content, Web, Creative, and Brand teams to support SEO-driven content projects through briefing, updates, and deployment. 
  • Track deliverables, monitor timelines, and escalate blockers to ensure on-time completion. 
  • Maintain documentation including content inventories, link mapping, and content governance frameworks. 
  • Collaborate with analytics and marketing teams to align content updates with insights and customer journey needs. 
  • Contribute to AI‑informed enhancements that support visibility and engagement improvements. 
  • Assist personalization stakeholders by ensuring AEM content, metadata and tagging are structured in ways that support personalization. 
  • Provide supporting updates to content components and documentation to help enable personalization developed by cross‑functional teams. 
  • Stay informed on SEO best practices, content experience trends, and platform updates. 
  • Provide support to the SEO & Content team as business needs evolve. 

 

Working Conditions: 

  • Hybrid 4 days/week in the Houston office 
  • Open office environment 
  • Occasional overtime as needed 

 

Minimum Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, Digital Media, or related field 
  • Strong writing background with 3 – 5 years of experience editing, proofreading, and maintaining brand consistency 
  • Comfortable working within a content management system; AEM experience preferred 
  • Understanding of SEO fundamentals and on‑page optimization 

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar CMS platforms 
  • Exposure to enterprise websites or multi-brand content operations 
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional content projects 
  • Basic understanding of HTML or web publishing best practices
