Job Summary:
The Business Operations Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining tablet devices to ensure seamless functionality, conducting vendor audits to uphold compliance and service quality, and generating sales operations reports to support informed business decisions. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating with vendors for timely resolutions, and providing actionable insights through accurate data analysis. Additionally, the Analyst will assist with onboarding activities, ensuring new team members are equipped with the necessary hardware and providing basic training on tablet usage and operational processes.
This role supports multiple channels in both the Texas and Canada markets. The analyst will work closely with vendors in these markets to ensure all necessary support and hardware is provided to drive sales operations effectively, as well as provide reporting and tracking as needed. By collaborating with key stakeholders, the analyst will play a critical role in optimizing sales performance through efficient hardware utilization and vendor partnerships.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement and maintain an issue tracking database for internal and external users who utilize third party technology.
- Work with vendors to provide technical support to sales vendors.
Supports monthly tablet audits and inventory management, including vendor utilization of active tablets in the field to ensure optimal deployment and effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely resolution to minimize disruptions to sales operations.
- Subject matter expert on vendor applications and platform.
- Reviews all monthly vendor invoicing for accuracy, working back with vendor to resolve any error or inconsistencies.
- Propose and support initiatives that enhance user experience and sales productivity.
- Assist with vendor onboarding, ensuring new vendors are integrated into company systems.
- Maintain uploads in SAP to support system tracking
- Assist with sales reporting and analysis identifying trends
- Work vendor requests including missing sales, payment disputes, hold requests, and other requests
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid
- Some overtime required as special projects arise.
- Travel – 10%
Minimum Requirements:
- College degree in business, economics, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Previous experience where demonstrated critical thinking skills can be shown
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic culture
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Expert in Excel
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to interview other subject matter experts, technical teams and end users to understand process / system
- Quick and self-directed learner
- Strong attention to detail
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience working with or within a Retail Electricity Provider
- Experience with SAP
- Proficient Excel skills to independently create and analyze spreadsheets
- Ability to perform data comparisons utilizing VLOOKUP functionality and pivot tables
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and remain composed under pressure
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Availability to be on camera on virtual meetings
- Majority of work performed on a personal computer in a seated position
- Open office environment
