The Digital Marketing SEO Analyst - will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies and best practices. The SEO Analyst is involved in keyword research, develops SEO tactics for both on- and off-page, aids in content development, and ensures the websites are easily available for both consumers and for search engines. This individual works closely with Content team, collaborates with Paid Media team, and partners with Web developers/UI/UX to maximize site performance and functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant SEO and digital marketing experience working on multiple websites
  • Proven success in building and executing SEO strategies to meet business goals
  • Experience using SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Moz, Conductor, Google Search Console
  • Strong understanding of how user experience and other digital marketing efforts play a large role in SEO and how to leverage those areas to make great SEO strategies
  • Ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as robots.txt, XML sitemaps, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills
  • Familiar with content management systems such as WordPress
  • Functional understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Up-to-date knowledge of organic search trends, including search engine algorithm changes, the latest tools and technologies
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically and identify and resolve problems
  • Google Analytics Certification
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics a plus
  • Experience reporting metrics to upper management and executives


Responsibilities

  • Create, implement and manage SEO strategies for multiple websites and lines of business
  • Monitor, analyze and report on SEO performance including crawl issues, backlink profile, keyword rankings, organic traffic, and opportunities for competitive improvement
  • Perform keyword research to optimize existing content/metadata and uncover new opportunities or emerging trends
  • Provide recommendations and execute/manage strategies for content development
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Conduct regular technical SEO audits and work with web developers to identify and resolve issues
  • Create and implement XML sitemaps, redirects, and robots.txt files
  • Execute link building campaigns in coordination with SEO goals
  • Collaborate with content, paid, and conversion rate optimization teams to create cohesive strategies and align on business goals
  • Manage third party vendors to ensure effectiveness of campaigns and report progress and success to business stakeholders
  • Serve as liaison across functional digital teams to optimize website, drive appropriate affiliate traffic, produce content, and tailor the experience for organic search and pay-per-click campaigns
  • Keep pace with SEO and internet marketing industry trends and share updates with the greater digital team
