Summer Internship Program

Our 16-week program is designed to increase future employment potential for prospects while providing a valuable resource to the business. This Summer Internship will appeal to initiative-taking and self-motivated students with a genuine desire to learn about the energy business and industry. During the internship, candidates will work on real projects and have real responsibilities. Ideal Candidate 

This Intern role within the organization is a Regulated Analyst based in Calgary, AB. Are you a university student in Canada with a passion for continuous improvement, data, and analytics? We are looking for a motivated Regulated Analyst Intern to join our team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in learning about the regulatory business and requirements, creating and managing new dashboards, and leveraging a curious mindset to improve the way we work, while working closely with our experienced business professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your analytical skills, learn about strategic decision-making, and contribute to significant business outcomes. Regulated Analyst Intern Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to analyze business metrics
  • Prepare and present reports on customer analytics and opportunities for the business
  • Assist in fostering innovative technologies to streamline and present data
  • Monitor and analyze gross margin calculations
  • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities
  • Analyze the trends of key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Process mapping and documentation to standardize planning and performance tasks
  • Ad-hoc reporting in Go-to-Market Regulated
  • Data mining and data visualization of financial and operational results
  • Ad-hoc Compliance support

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree discipline: Business
  • 2nd or 3rd Year student enrolled in a Canadian University
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship

Working Conditions

  • Open office environment 
  • Primary Location of Employment: Calgary, AB
  • Based on placement, the schedule of your work week will be a hybrid work schedule; where Monday-Thursday will be in office, and remote work from home on Friday’s.
