Senior Benefits Analyst

Overview:
In this role, the successful candidate will possess attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, problem-solving skills, and ability to quickly adapt to change. The candidate must have a strong customer-service focus.  Duties will include:

  • Providing excellent customer service to employees and HR Managers; collaborating with vendor partners and internal stakeholders to resolve a wide range of benefit issues in a timely, equitable and efficient manner.
  • Assisting in the day to day administration of assigned Benefits functions: including a heavy emphasis on data integrity, metrics and analytics.  Benefits programs include but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long term disability and wellness.
  • Handling escalated benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution.
  • Administer the leave and disability programs, including maintaining employee statuses and system reporting and liasing with leave and disability vendor on any leave related issues.
  • Partnering with HRIS to enhance current benefit production reports and data extract files;   performing data integrity testing on a monthly and quarterly basis and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Assisting with implementing approved changes to plans with vendors and carriers.
  • Assisting in developing and improving benefits processes and policies.
  • Supporting special projects and business analysis as required.
  • Supporting annual enrollment including user acceptance testing, reviewing written communications, answering questions from HR business partners and facilitating employee benefits meetings.

 

What you need for success:

  • Five years of relevant benefits experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Health & Welfare and Life & Disability.
  • Experience with leave and disability programs.
  • Strong analysis skills and understanding of HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Superior customer service skills including excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Familiarity with SAP and SuccessFactors.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain employee confidentiality.
