Summary:

This position is responsible for the daily administrative functions of the employee wellness program in coordination with outsourced vendors and field representatives, coordinating communications with employee base, and resolving problems and issues that may arise.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate wellness activities with third party vendors and site representatives, including Wellness Champions
  • Help in the development, design, and implementation of wellness programs across the company.
  • Develop and maintain reports on the utilization and effectiveness of the company’s wellness programs.
  • Lead the annual implementation and launch of the wellness screening program
  • Responsible for ongoing health and wellness promotions
  • Gather and coordinate content for education and activity to designated locations on site
  • Partner with local providers and resources to create location specific wellness programming to educate employees on living a healthy lifestyle
  • Design and deliver workshops and training programs, as well as procure external health care subject matter experts to present learning sessions to employee participants
  • Serve as the “go to” resource for wellness topics, resources and support
  • Supporting benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, retirement including annual enrollment user accepting testing
  • Assisting in developing and improving benefits processes and policies
  • Supporting special projects and business analysis as required

 

Minimum:

  • High School diplomas and 3 years in an HR department 

           OR

  • Bachelor's degree and 1 year experience working an HR department.  
  • Has general benefits knowledge in areas such plan design, corporate well-being programs and administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain employee confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated ability to research problems, apply analytical techniques, and follow through issues to resolution.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Strong customer relationship building skills.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1 year experience working in benefits,  wellness and/or health and welfare 
  • 1 year expereince working on a wellness program

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to adapt work schedule to business demand
  • Limited travel (less than 10%)
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading
