Job Summary: 

The Inside Sales Client Relations Manager is focused on customer retention, win-back, and new sales opportunities. The Client Relations Manager (CRM) will be responsible for identifying high value prospects, developing a lead pipeline, closing sales and maintaining ongoing relationships with commercial and residential customers.  The CRM will also be responsible for the provision of limited customer service, and coordination of activities with various utilities.  Additionally, because the CRM will be representing NRG on behalf of important strategic affinity partners, a high customer orientation and superior relationship skills are critical.  The ideal candidate is an intelligent and energetic individual with the ability to function in an unstructured environment while contributing greatly to the sales growth of the overall business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achievement of sales targets and adherence to specific key performance indicators
  • Outbound and inbound sales/relationship management
  • Identifying decision makers amongst the targeted leads in order to initiate sales process
  • Building and mining a sales lead pipeline with prospects in commercial and residential segment
  • Competitive analysis and planning to ensure maximum success in multiple markets with unique characteristics
  • Cooperating with representatives from marketing, finance, operations and customer service to design best customer solutions
  • Attending sales team meetings concerning team activities and providing feedback on market conditions
  • Handling cancellations or changes in sales orders and communicating the changes with the related departments, including external parties where necessary
  • Coordinating with customer service for status on orders to ensure that customer expectations are consistently met
  • Results tracking and compilation of various reports
  • Emphasizing service or product features and benefits, quoting prices, and preparing sales order reports or forms
  • Capturing of accurate and complete information in Customer Relationship Management system

 

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment
  • Some overtime required as special projects arise
  • Typical Call Center Environment
  • Ability to travel and work between our call center locations.
  • Work Schedule may require shift work; later hours and weekends may be required
