  • Development of detailed work schedules and work plans that support the Ivanpah site
  • Works with Operations Foremen and Managers to develop a resource integrated daily, weekly and monthly work schedules
  • Ensures that all work is planned and complies with current safety procedures and LOTO protocols
  • Develops schedules for Major Maintenance and opportunity outages
  • Develops and tracks maintenance and scheduling KPIs
  • Develops, maintains and updates work packages, job plans, PMs and maintenance procedures
  • Ensures development and implementation of assigned area goals, objectives, and initiatives
  • Supports and emphasizes importance of safety and environmental programs and ensures regulatory compliance
  • Ensures all Company resources are utilized in a cost-effective manner, estimates resource requirements, monitors expenditures, and reports on performance of assigned area
  • Recognizes problems and is proactive in helping to resolve them
  • Assists in the development and rollout of programs around Reliability Centered Maintenance, Asset Management, and Equipment Reliability
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications as assigned (SAP, PaSTA, Primavera P-6, MS Office, etc.)
  • Occasionally fill Crew-Supervisor Role as needed.

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years’ experience in maintenance planning
  • 2-3 years of experience working with SAP or other CMMS
  • Experience using a personal computer and standard business software


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 years’ experience working in power plants
  • BS degree


Working Conditions

  • Normal office environment and/or plant environment, including working at heights, high/low ambient temperatures and high humidity areas
  • Requires standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, twisting, climbing stairs and ladders, and entering plant equipment to access, inspect, or collect data on plant equipment
  • Occasionally requires wearing personal protective safety equipment (respirators, safety glasses, hard hat, appropriate footwear, ear plugs, etc)
  • Occasionally work around rotating and energized equipment, hazardous materials/chemicals
  • Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities
  • Work overtime and non-standard working hours as required
  • Requires valid license to operate a motor vehicle
  • Requires occasional travel
