Summary: 

This position supports the Builder/Multifamily channel for the purpose of building brand awareness, strong relationships with our partners and driving incremental sales volume. It is a relationship/sales based position focused multifamily communities within assigned territories. The primary job function is to build strong relationships with each community’s onsite staff to understand the benefits and promote our brands exclusively. They will work hand in hand with sales and operations to deliver an outstanding customer service experience.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Initial and continual training of community personnel within assigned territory. Training will include overview of all company related products to key staff, distribution of promotional marketing materials, and answering account related questions including articulating the value of our brands.
  • Serve as the key subject matter resource for field activity across customer lifecycle, reporting trends, and competitive intelligence.
  • Research and resolve contract and customer service issues as directed by EMMs and sales management, with a particular focus on enrollment status, contract amendments and escalated billing issues.
  • Participate and contribute in the development marketing strategy and sales plan.
  • Work with internal data analytics to provide reporting and analysis on customer performance both internal and external as needed.
  • Administrative and other duties as required.

 

Position Requirements Education

  • Bachelor degree or higher preferred. In lieu of a degree, a minimum one year of energy or utility work experience may substitute for educational requirement.

 

Experience

  • 3-5 years working with customers in a problem solving or sales support capacity required.                                           
  • Knowledge or utility and/or energy industry preferred.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to make tough decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure; has a bias for action.
  • Ability to own and deliver against specific sales and/or marketing commitments.
  • Consolidation of reports across marketing campaigns and sharing of key learnings.
  • Work effectively and build relationships with people at all levels – solid team player.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional business teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
  • Must be extremely organized and be able to multi-task among different tasks.
  • Reliable Transporation required
  • Valid Driver's License required

 

Physical Requirements

Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities.

 

Working Conditions

Normal office environment

Some overtime required as special projects arise
