Job Summary: 


The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing technology and analytical enabled solutions to improve Supply Chain business processes. The role will provide subject matter expertise for supply chain solutions related to ISNet World, SAP S/4 and Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, Buy, Spend and SLP.  Senior SC Analyst will be expected to support business processes and solutions related to sourcing, contract management, procurement, supplier enablement, inventory replenishment, spend analytics, supply chain metrics, and SAP supply chain data and analytics


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Serve as supply chain subject matter expert in analyzing complex data into key business insights and actionable findings to identify and quantify business improvement opportunities
  • Develop and implement process and technology improvements pertaining to Supply Chain process challenges
  • Improve the supply chain system capabilities across the SAP and Ariba Suite platforms
  • Create and run diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive data models
  • Create business intelligence, dashboards, visualizations, and/or other advanced analytics reports to inform the business narrative and offer recommendations that are practiced, actionable, and have material impact
  • Develops or oversees the development of the following work products:
    • business cases and cost/benefit analysis
    • project charters and scope statements
    • detailed business requirements
    • project milestone and time lines
    • test plans
    • training plans
    • implementation plans
    • communication plans
    • risk management plans
    • change readiness plans
    • user support plans
    • success metrics and service level agreements
    • sponsor updates
  • Provide project management for process and technology improvement initiatives, which may include requirements definition, data analysis and performance metrics, solution design and development, business case preparation, overall implementation coordination with IT solution providers   
  • Coordinate joint business intelligence and data analysis initiatives ensuring project objectives align and support Supply Chain capabilities and goals
  • Establish Supply Chain measures and perform data analysis/root cause investigations
  • Prepare and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics dashboard for Supply Chain
  • Prepares scorecards and reports
  • Conduct and support industry benchmarking to assess Supply Chain capabilities and identify best practices
  • Collaborating with other business units to establish performance measurements and controls, monitoring efforts, and communicating performance results

Working Conditions:

  • Open office environment.
  • Travel (10%)


Minimum Requirements:


  • A minimum of 3-5 years in sourcing/procurement/supply chain process experience. 
  • 1 year of experience with SAP across S/4 Hana and/or Ariba platforms.
  • Bachelor's Degree


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in energy or asset intensive industry with work management or retail processes preferred
  • CPM, CPSM, CSCP, ASCM (APICS), and/or PMI certification is preferred
  • 2+ years of SAP working knowledge in S/4 Hana and Ariba

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong working knowledge of sourcing, procurement, contracting, and supplier relationship management computer applications including SAP and Ariba applications  
  • Strong competence within Microsoft products (Excel) and data visualization solutions such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and time management
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Self-starter who has ability to work collaboratively to achieve high-level results
  • Demonstrated experience in leading projects
  • Budget or financial analysis experience
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes
  • Influencing skills and respect within the organization
  • Working knowledge of process documentation tools
  • Data analysis, retrieval and query skills
  • Group presentation skills
