Job Summary

This role will be involved in a variety of strategic and tactical marketing initiatives and will gain meaningful exposure to projects across many different groups including legal, philanthropy, government affairs groups, and more. Projects include conducting market research, developing and leading marketing campaigns, writing creative briefs for print and digital collateral, supporting corporate events, and new initiatives as they arise. The ideal candidate is a professional, articulate solutions-oriented “go-getter” who enjoys and thrives in fast-paced environments. A background in marketing, research, strategy, as well as strong project management skills is required. This position works closely with multiple teams, including but not limited to: digital, communications (internal & external), legal, content, creative services, sales, strategy, innovation and customer experience. A high level of independence, responsibility, analysis and creative thinking is required.



  • Supports and/or leads marketing collateral development, initiatives, and project element and delivers required materials on time and on budget. Supports development of creative briefs and asset creation timelines
  • Participates in the marketing planning process along with manager and team
  • Successfully manages projects from conceptualization through delivery
  • Participates in customer business review meetings and internal service meetings to collect feedback and develop action plans to improve marketing results
  • Supports special projects as needed
  • Works with a high degree of initiative and independence in anticipating client needs, developing solutions that further business objectives and ensures successful implementation
  • Conducts market research on an assigned basis, with a focus on customer satisfaction and value; conducts quantitative and qualitative research
  • Synthesizes data from multiple sources to create  comprehensive, digestible stories
  • Presents and communicates findings and insights gained from analyses and makes recommendations to business
  • Adheres to brand guidelines and ensures quality and consistency on all marketing materials; follows department processes
  • Proactively updates stakeholders on tasks and project status
  • Contributes to the development of effective business decisions through clear, concise communication and reporting using compelling data to support conclusions
  • Submits invoices on time and tracks and adheres to budgets for assigned projects
  • Supports measuring and sharing campaign results and provides recommendations for improvement
  • Supports annual marketing review by providing analysis and information on the most successful campaigns and collateral pieces; provides suggestions for improvement


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of marketing or communications experience
  • Previous experience working on marketing campaigns, messaging and visual collateral


Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous Energy experience
  • Previous B2B experience
  • Previous analyst or project management experience, preferably in marketing or research focused teams

  • Must be comfortable planning a project from ideation to implementation

  • Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities
