Job Summary


This position is responsible for supporting strategic marketing strategy for NRG Business Solutions. This position will work across the marketing organization to track, report and coordinate activities and communication. This position is responsible for assisting in the analysis of marketing programs.



Job Description


  • Create robust reporting platform for internal, external, Solutions & Corporate activities for VP review.
  • Interact comfortably and skillfully with senior level executives and others within and outside the company.
  • Work with Sr Director of Marketing, Director of Customer Engagement & FP&A liaison to manage and track budget.
  • Resolve time-sensitive issues with a high degree of precision and exhibit strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prepare written reports as well as presentations for management to include CEO and President of Business Solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with the Business Solutions analytical team: research, sustainability, finance, and technology.
  • Manage multiple projects and coordinate work efforts with other team members.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented and comfortable responding to and structuring ambiguous requests
  • Understanding of financial modeling
  • Familiarity Salesforce and data analytic tools
  • Action-oriented change agent mentality with a strong drive for results
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with people across multiple work-streams and business units
  • Ability to work independently and proactively to take initiative to solve problems quickly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with thoroughness and attention to detail


Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, Finance or related area of study
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in consulting, business analysis, or a similar analytical role
  • Must possess an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Must have an understanding of financial modeling

Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous experience working in the Energy Industry
  • Previous experience working as an analyst within a Marketing Department
  • Previous experience using Sales Force
