We are looking for an individual with a unique combination of skills; someone who is passionate about identifying what customers truly need and want, possesses the creativity to turn those customer needs into a new product or service idea, is analytical, organized and structured to figure out what needs to get done to turn the ideas into reality, and fiercely driven to see those ideas through.  Green Mountain Energy is seeking a rock star Product Innovation Analyst who can easily fit into a fast-paced, dynamic team driven to accelerate the clean energy and sustainable future.  The Product Innovation team is at the core of this company’s growth and provides a great environment to develop cross-functional skillset unparalleled in other functional groups.  This position will be reporting to a Sr. Manager in Innovation.



  • Support product managers and directors, and in some cases take the lead, on new product launches, feature enhancements, programs, product promotions and product optimization for both Residential and Small/Medium business customers.
  • Take ownership of multiple projects from smaller sub-tasks to larger initiatives; drive the project from concept/start to end result and provide on-going product or program support.
  • Understand all processes associated to the product or program and report back on overall performance.
  • Identify potential risks and gaps in processes or project plans, recommend potential solutions.
  • Provide support on requested tasks, organize tasks, communicate and proactively think through/express next steps.
  • Contribute to new product and service ideas; researching and providing clear, concise summaries, recommendations and structured next steps.
  • Own products and projects, analyze and identify opportunities for enhancements that improve business results or customer experience.
  • Collaborate with and help drive cross-functional teams across many regions.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 - 5 years of product management experience and/or marketing experience, preferably in the consumer-facing products or services industry
  • Education- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Engineering, IT, or Technology
  • Ability to travel up to 10%


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the solar, energy, sustainability services, or a high-tech company a plus
  • Consumer-facing products or services industry experience preferred.
