Summary:

We are seeking a candidate with 3-5 years of marketing experience to lead the development, implementation and measurement of marketing plans for our Security and AC & Heat lines of business.  This person will also manage a marketing associate and should have experience in managing a team. 

 

This person will also be responsible for driving strategy and execution for assigned programs, new products and is accountable for performance against strategy/goals for the assigned area.

 

The right candidate will develop strategic mass marketing plans to include out of home, TV, radio, and digital video to help drive brand awareness for both the short and long term in conjunction with our Advertising Sr. Manager. 

 

The Marketing Manager will have a client-facing relationship and should be able to manage client relationships and expectations.  Requires 3-5 years experience in marketing.  

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintains positive client relationships
  • Lead the program management of various programs or campaigns simultaneously
  • Develop effective campaign plans and timelines to meet business objectives
  • Coordinate efforts within overall marketing plan
  • Create campaign briefs that define the background, objective and deliverables for use by both internal and external creative agencies
  • Organize and lead the activities of cross-functional teams to ensure timeliness of campaign completion
  • Work with the creative team to produce creative that is on strategy, on target and in brand by effectively kicking off the project, and constantly communicating with them about the status of the project and other relevant updates
  • Lead strategic discussions and provide creative solutions
  • Manage risk, resolve issues and take corrective action as necessary on individual projects within campaign
  • Identify research opportunities, key metrics, and processes that should or should not be repeated in future campaigns
  • Manage timelines within our project management system and ensure the projects stay on track
  • Ensure all creative projects follow our internal creative process
  • Be solutions-oriented, providing recommendations for ways to solve issues as they arise
  • Create presentation and communication materials
  • Contribute to development of business cases and present to leadership in order to influence and facilitate strategic changes
  • Identifies and elevates opportunities to enhance the customer journey and experience

 

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to think strategically to provide solutions
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a deadline-sensitive environment
  • Knowledge of project management processes, workflow and terminology (waterfall and/or agile is a plus)
  • Solid business acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to work successfully in a matrix organization with competing priorities
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, set agendas, and follow up on next steps
  • Sets high expectations of self and work; self-motivated and resourceful; takes pride in delivering quality output at all stages of project

 

Experience:

  • 3-5 years experience in marketing, advertising, or account management
  • Expected to take initiative and work well in fast-pace environment with multiple departments, projects and deadlines

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

 

Working Conditions:

  • Open office environment
  • Some overtime required as special projects arise

Day travel and some overnight stays
