This job is responsible for providing analytical and technical support to Sales and Billing Operations.  Effectively manage the development life cyclefor major and minor enhancements. Ensure systems design and functionality matches the organization's business strategies and is clearly communicated to the user groups. Create test scripts and data to facilitate user testing and ensure the enhancement deliverable satisfies the customer group request.  Support change communication and coordinate end-user training for system implementations.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide first level of support in performing analysis, determining root cause and escalation of technical issues to the IT support team.
  • Develop business requirements and functional specifications that drive technical system solutions. 
  • Develop processes for production support exception handling.
  • Lead business requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  • Document, track and manage requirements in appropriate tools.
  • Participate in developing and implementation of new processes and tools to streamline workflow.
  • Manage and resolve complex and escalated issues.
  • Monitor error inflow, diagnose and correct impacted records en mass due to spikes in volume.
  • Identify trends and issues and provide feedback to different groups to work toward a solution.
  • Monitor and produce reports to management.
  • Other duties as required by business needs.


Education:  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or work experience.


Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Effectively communicate to a wide range of audiences in both written and oral form.
  • Strong business and system analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Tools, especially Power Point, Word, Excel, Access and Visio
  • Able to complete projects independently and without supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple demands and thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP CCS, CRM, SD, and BW.
  • Knowledge of Siebel preferred.
  • Ability to apply/interpret advanced statistical math as required by projects or by request.


Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities.


Working Conditions

  • Normal office environment.

·Some overtime required as special projects arise.


Experience:  A minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in analyzing business processes and participating in business processes and system improvement efforts is preferred.  Demonstrate proficiency in Excel and Access.  Knowledge of the utility and/or the deregulated energy or telecommunications industry preferred.

  • Identify risks and opportunities for recommendations.
  • Effectively interface with a variety of people both internally and externally.
  • To ensure delivery of information and analysis that supports business strategy.
  • Analyze and correct issues using SAP, Dimensions, Quality Center, and Quick Test.

Role Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Write requirements documents with little or no supervision.
  • Knowledge of EDI transaction processing.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to use good judgment to make recommendations and decisions.
