Job Summary:

The Energy Marketing Analyst will work hand in hand with SMB channel managers to launch, monitor, and support new and existing sales projects, promotions, and sales tools. This position will report directly to the Director of SMB sales and will have high visibility with cross functional departments and teams within NRG.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Perform post close activities such as adds, deletes, assignments, and early terminations in company portal
  • Gather details and perform issue resolution in company portal at the deal level, and track to completion. Notify impacted parties of status throughout the process
  • Collect requirements from business stakeholders and affected parties and assist with resolution prioritization and  solution design
  • Project manage launches for new processes: document, train and communicate with users on new tools and workflows
  • Directly manage third party vendor relationships to communicate priorities, track issue resolution, and plan enhancements
  • Manage testing of new enhancements and bug fixes
  • Manage updates to site links/language and general UI improvements
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, segment, risk, IT, legal, and enrollment teams within NRG to ensure scope and direction of each project is on target
  • Lead ad hoc projects that may not always have a defined scope at the beginning
  • Review business issues and help determine if process improvement or a technology solution is needed
  • Ability to quickly adapt, learn new technologies, and be able to create a solid understanding of user challenges
  • Become an expert in SMB’s business tools and channels to enable all the above
  • This person will be self-motivated, highly organized, productive, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional office experience 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must have demonstrated analytical skills


Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous Salesforce Experience
  • Previous marketing, consulting, or strategy experience
  • Previous energy experience


Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

  • Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized.
  • Thorough understanding and ability to apply marketing and technology principles.
  • High integrity, energy, enthusiasm and tenacity.
  • Proven commitment to delivering projects on time.
  • Effectively communicate to a wide range of audiences in both written and oral form. 


Physical Requirements: 

  •  Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities. 


Working Conditions:  

  • Primarily an office environment.
  • Some overtime required as special projects arise.
  • Limited travel may be required
