Brand Advertising Manager

We are currently seeking to hire a Brand Advertising Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for a diverse range of assignments, projects and activities to support business goals and objectives, develop integrated mass campaigns that drive acquisition call volume and web traffic.  The selected candidate will support the development and execution of brand advertising campaigns for retail acquisition, including but not limited to: program positioning, value proposition, messaging, creative and media planning. Also, responsible for producing measureable and sustainable results that strengthen brand awareness, consideration, and improve customer retention in the Texas market.

This Brand Advertising Manager will work closely with the following teams: brand strategy, campaign execution and planning marketing teams; customer segment marketing, corporate functional groups and external creative and media agencies to help plan, create, implement and optimize campaigns. The selected candidate will report to the Senior Manager of Brand Advertising.

 

Position Responsibilities

 

  • Manage the development of strategic and creative advertising and influence creative outcomes. Manage workflow of daily project details and creative direction for overall consumer communication and optimal creative solutions.
    • Help develop standout creative that breaks through the clutter, strengthens brand affinity, purchase intent and is cutting-edge.
    • Collaborate with the marketing campaign execution and planning teams and external agencies to ensure 360˚ integration of brand advertising and messaging across multiple consumer touch points – including TV, Radio, and OOH, digital, print, on-line video, mobile and social. 
    • Manage timelines to develop and meet Advertising deadlines.
  • Assist in the strategic planning and buying of media inventory. Ensuring that media integrates brand messaging across multiple consumer touch points – including TV, OOH, digital banners, print, on-line video, display and mobile for General and Hispanic Market. Identify opportunities for media sponsorships and activations that will amplify brand awareness and consideration.
  • Works closely with agency partners to ensure collaboration and execution of impactful advertising that builds brand awareness and consideration, driving business goals.
  • Responsible for understanding the diverse dynamic of the Texas consumer and developing advertising strategies and executions specifically for that consumer, including, but not limited to, in-language creative, media buys and sponsorships, with a concentrated focus on the Hispanic segment.
  • Work closely with the marketing analytics and research teams and agency teams to analyze market research, in-market results and advertising metrics to assess performance and generate future improvements. 
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics; develop benchmarks and measurements for success; deliver clear, consider and reliable reporting on media activity and campaign effectiveness. Measuring ROI, CTR, CPM, VCR, customer count, customer first, brand strength.
  • Translate insights into actionable consumer driven advertising strategies that support business and marketing objectives.
  • Provide innovative thought leadership to the broader marketing team through “test and learn scenarios” to evaluate opportunities within the advertising space.
  • Leverage competitive industry and business analysis to identify market opportunities, purse and test new media opportunities that help extend reach, effectiveness and improve brand perception.
  • Responsible for developing and improving upon marketing processes to ensure efficiencies and seamless integrations.
  • Ability to successfully and independently project manage multi-projects, working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as brand ambassador for the organization and ensure consistent messaging and creative across channels and campaigns.
  • Assists in the communication of mass advertising activity to the broader organization, and keep stakeholders informed of media schedules, creative rotations, production schedules, etc.
  • Assists with the reconciliation and management of mass advertising budget, keeping key stakeholder abreast of requests and approvals.
  • Lead special projects to address pressing business needs as necessary.

 

Position Requirements:

  • 5-7 years B2C marketing and/or advertising agency experience.
  • BA/BA in Marketing and or Advertising.
  • Lead media planning, creative and production development for television, radio, OOH and/or digital.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights.
  • Has a passionate drive for process development, process improvement and project management.
  • Self-motivated, ability to plan and collaboratively run projects independently.
  • Personable with strong verbal and written communication skills; solid business acumen, able to clearly communicate objectives and outcomes with marketing leaders and cross-functional teams, and present material to a variety of audiences.
  • Have had exposure to and/or experience in media planning.
  • Strong project management skills including a demonstrated ability to deliver against aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple tasks and projects through cross-functional teams and external agencies.
  • Pays strong attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of adverting budget management.
  • Ability to be effective in ambiguity.
  • Clear appetite for learning; can show how newly gained knowledge and skill can be applied on the job.

     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA preferred
  • Ability to speak and write Spanish
