Job Summary: 

The Junior Pricing Analyst will analyze customer load data to determine the best available options for supply purchasing. The Junior Pricing Analyst will be responsible for preparing data and analysis of various supply options and create proposals for presentation to a customer, including comparison to their default or current supply situation.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  •   Support pricing team through data gathering, entry, and analysis
  •   Prepare RFPs and send to suppliers, answer any questions and ensure timely response
  •   Analyze pricing and create proposals for presentation to customers
  •   Support sales staff on entry level accounts with pricing, analysis, and contracts.


Working Conditions:

  • Open office environment.
  • Some overtime required as special projects arise.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled in OR have already earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Math or a related field
  • Must have intermediate/advanced Excel skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous energy-related experience


Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work in a team environment and handle a varying and often heavy workload
  • Multi-tasking skills are important
  • Strong Math skills are needed; ability to make simple mental calculations quickly and accurately


Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for long periods of time.
