Job Summary: 


  • The Analyst Support Lead, Key Accounts will support a variety of efforts critical to the business’s success. The core responsibility will be to ensure the Key Accounts and Asset Backed Demand Response efforts are being provided with the back-end support necessary for account development and ongoing maintenance and servicing of accounts. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Ensuring data acquisition is accurate, timely, formatted upon receipt, and entered into Database.
  • Tracking power and gas RFP’s, analyses, projects, and any other tasks from or involving Sales and the analyst team. Working with the Manager of Advisory Services and NRGAS analysts to ensure information is received, completed, and provided to the appropriate party in a timely manner.
  • Organizing the team and assisting associates to optimize processes particularly the Manager of Advisory Services.
  • Sorting and distributing communications in a timely manner, bringing attention to urgent matters and following up to ensure they have been resolved.
  • Ensuring customer information is uploaded and maintained accurately in the company’s customer database system.
  • Documenting business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and working cross functionally to implement enhancements.
  • Maintaining critical business and account reports.
  • Manage schedules and deadlines.
  • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues.


Working Conditions:


  • Open office environment.
  • Some extra time  required as special projects arise.


Minimum Requirements:


  • BA/BS from an accredited university and 3+ years’ experience in business operations or administrative role OR
  • Associated Degree and 5+ years’ experience in business operations or administrative role OR
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and 8+ years’ experience in business operations or administrative role
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Retail electricity and natural gas experience
  • Experience in retail energy contracts
  • Experiences in demand response & ancillary market programs
  • Experience in distributed energy resources

  • Thorough understanding of office management procedures
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking abilities and time management skills
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of business processes and systems

  • Experience performing administrative tasks and a supportive role
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience demonstrating an aptitude to learn quickly and be flexible
