General Summary of Position

GOAL ZERO is looking for a qualified Sales Operations Assistant to gather, organize, manage, and execute on daily coordination between the Sales Operations and Warehouse teams. This role will involve structuring, organizing and implementing data to ensure 100% on-time delivery.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Reports to Sales Operations Supervisor
  • Organization and coordination of the order book
  • Responsible for communicating product needs to the warehouse for current and future orders
  • Assists the Sales Operations Supervisor and Sales Analysts in managing the current order book, coordinating product needs with the warehouse, and managing inventory transfers.
  • Responsible for notifying customers of shipment status, including Goal Zero sales functions & the solutions center where appropriate
  • Answer phones and emails concerning order status as needed
  • Identify process improvement and report implementation plans to Warehouse and Sales Ops Supervisors 
  • Assist with set up, management, and staffing of large orders
  • Assist Sales Ops Supervisor with strategic initiatives and key project implementation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including accounting, warehouse, sales, event, customer service, and supply chain teams.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to use computer for Inventory tracking and systems (preferred MAS 200),  and spreadsheets(Consumer – B2C, B2B, International, LTL, etc)
  • Problem solving skills, highly motivated, well organized, punctual.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Self-motivated
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Understanding of shipping management principles
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience in preparing reports

 

Education

  • High-school completion or equivalent, required

  • Ability to constantly lift heavy objects (~75 lbs)
  • Regularly required to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time, to use arms to reach, hands to finger, handle, and feel and to traverse throughout the warehouse. 
  • Overtime and weekend work as required.

  • Open Office and Warehouse Environment
  • Position located in Bluffdale, Utah – no relocation available.
