General Summary of Position

The Pricing & Compliance Analyst role is responsible for reporting, managing and controlling documentation for all parts of inventory SKU creation, overseeing pricing management across 1,000+ SKUs, as well as the management, reporting, and enforcement of retail pricing.  This role will support the Senior Supply Chain Analyst in providing analytical needs for the Supply Chain team and serve as a cross-functional resource within the sales and accounting functions.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Price & Margin Compliance:
    • Develop/maintain accurate price spreadsheets twice annually inclusive of all levels of pricing (international, distributors, etc.)
    • Ensure out of cycle SKUs are maintained within ERP system and/or all pricing documents
    • Manage unique pricing deal sheets and MAS pricing compliance/accuracy
    • Ensure all pricing follows proper approval guidelines
    • Develop new seasonal order forms for sales use
    • Ensure standard costs are accurately approved and within ERP system and other documents as needed
    • Coordinate with sales to review/develop price levels and ensure pricing is funneled through appropriate approval channels
  • Item Creation Maintenance:
    • Maintain system controls for designating new item codes
    • Gather data and details across departments required for creating new items
    • Coordinate master carton/retail cartons as needed to create barcodes
    • Create all new SKUs inclusive of UPC’s and maintain as needed
  • Standard Cost
    • Bi-annual comparison analysis of all cost impacts related to SKU’s including freight, duty, FOB cost, etc.
    • Establish and lock 2x per year standard cost in preparation for seasonal pricing
  • Support all reporting needs related to standard cost UAPP Compliance
    • Use 3rd party MAP monitoring software (Channel IQ or similar) to discover resellers in violation of pricing policy and communicate with appropriate sales person to resolve
    • Identify unauthorized dealers online (via google searches, MAS comparisons, buying product, etc.)
    • Follow up and follow through on all policy violations and the enforcement of policies in violation with all resellers
    • Authorized Dealer program owner to ensure properly managed and updated
    • Lead regularly scheduled meetings to review price violations and establish and track action items
  • Other:
    • Generate reports necessary to keep stakeholders informed to progress and status
    • Create and maintain standard operating procedures for department processes for controlling data inputs
    • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or similar field and/or equivalent experience, preferred
  • Advanced Excel Skills, required  as well as experience with all other Microsoft Office programs
  • Project Management oriented
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • SQL Server experience, preferred
  • Able to follow projects through to completion and work well across teams
  • Communicate urgency of project deadlines in an effective manner
  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with multiple departments and teams
  • Self-motivated

 

 

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to stand and/or sit for long periods of time working on a computer/monitor
  • Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
  • Ability to occasionally lift ~50lbs in working with products
  • Role is located at Goal Zero in Bluffdale, UT, no relocation available

  • Open Office Environment – main work location
