Job Summary

We’re seeking an experienced content-focused creative who is deeply involved with both concepting and executing aesthetically driven films, photography and animation, as well as social-first content campaigns. As Creative Content Specialist you will work closely with Creative Manager to set the vision for projects, enforce our high standards and create and produce work. In addition, you will own the Digital Asset management tool to share relevant content with everyone connected to Goal Zero (sales teams, vendors and retail partners, etc.).

Successful candidates should have a portfolio that demonstrates deep knowledge and competency with the following: filmmaking, photography, editing, content curation, social media and a broad understanding of how to create and produce content-driven creative campaigns. Previous Digital Asset Management experience is preferred, although we will also consider strong candidates who show organizational aptitude.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create a wide variety of digital content including product support videos, social posts, customer stories, and general product footage or stories
  • Research, shoot, and/or edit photos
  • Set up lighting and equipment for shoots
  • Collaborate with team to share and guide vision and direction of a given project through to final deliverable
  • Ensure editing consistency across a body of images
  • Collaborate on projects with the creative team
  • Strong organizational skills

 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of steps necessary to take a project from concept to launch.
  • Broad awareness of creative and technology trends.
  • Excellent strategic, conceptual and executional skills.
  • Experience running productions and partnering with video directors, photographers, motion designers and illustrators to create on-brand work.
  • Hands-on experience as a video director, photographer, or editor
  • Previous demonstrated curatorial experience
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment on deadline with daily time constraints
  • Experience with After Effects, Premiere and Photoshop
  • Deep knowledge of Photoshop and other photo editing tools, including organizing, color editing, retouching, and exporting files
  • Experience with motion design and animation
  • Experience with concept creation, style frame creation and storyboarding
  • Experience with sound editing or mixing
  • Ability to develop narratives and shot planning

 

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a content focused creative an agency, studio or in-house
  • Must submit video/photography portfolio for consideration

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Art in Videography, Photography, Marketing or equivalent

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Domestic travel up to 20%
  • Evening and weekend work occasionally required as job duties demand.
  • Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs as required to move product

 

Work Environment:

  • Open Office Environment – Primary
  • Warehouse Environment - Secondary
  • Ability to work in an office environment as well as out in the field.
  • Position located in Bluffdale, UT
