Job Description:

 

  • Green Mountain Energy and NRG seek to hire a motivated Talent Sourcer. The position is responsible for hiring sales agents for the in-house sales team to staff locations like farmers markets, events, and nationally known retail opportunities. The Talent Sourcer will serve as a recruiter and will work closely with other recruiters, HRIS, team leads, and management. Job Summary: 

 

  • Work constructively within the team to hire, onboard, and train new agents to the in-house sales team.
  • Be accountable for consistent communication to stakeholders regarding expected hires, onboarding candidates, and new hire trainings.
  • Ensure clear communication in accordance with expectations.
  • Position reports to Area Sales Manager.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Hire new sales agents for the assigned team(s) in accordance with headcount and goal needs.
  • Proactively anticipate hiring needs with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine candidate suitability.
  • Continuous networking and pipelining to identify a broad and diverse external talent slate.
  • Identify and implement creative and targeted search and marketing strategies or technologies that will drive successful pipelining of both active and passive candidates.
  • Proactively develop, execute, and monitor online candidate search campaigns using a variety of internet-based resources as a delivery vehicle for producing quality candidates.
  • Create and manage job postings across several internal and external job boards.
  • Proactively headhunt compatible salespeople to join the team.
  • Guide applicants through the offer and onboarding process.
  • Create new user accounts for sales agents on internal and external platforms.
  • Provide introductory trainings on employee resources and how to use company platforms.
  • Order and track background and drug screening.
  • Attend regular meetings with stakeholders.
  • Join sales team meetings when required.
  • Post new hire notifications on the sales team’s engagement platform.
  • Organize equipment to provide to new hires as appropriate.
  • Occasionally attend career fairs or other recruiting events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Working Conditions:

 

  • Hybrid schedule with 2-3 office days per week.
  • Open office environment.
  • Some overtime required as special projects arise.
  • Travel to in-market career fairs may occur.

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Highschool diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of recruiting or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to work with a team.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Knowledge on HRIS and ATS systems and processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Face-to-face customer service and/or sales experience
  • High level of personal integrity
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Energetic approach to work
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • 2 years successful work experience as a Talent Sourcing Specialist, Recruiter Sourcer or similar role where advance sourcing strategies were applied to recruit talent.
  • Experience in FlipSearching sourcing techniques

 

 

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Ability to lift 40 pounds.
