Job Summary:

The Senior Marketing and Digital Operations Analyst is a new role supporting our growing marketing and digital teams at Direct Energy Canada. We’re looking for a well-organized, personable, positive, and take ownership type of person that can guide the production, operation and analysis of various marketing and digital projects. This role will be responsible for planning and coordinating marketing and digital campaigns and initiatives, product launches and some occasional budget management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented but can also understand the bigger picture. We are looking for someone with sales and marketing acumen, a strong business process orientation, a passion for continuous improvement and prioritization, knowledge of digital development and the ability to operate in fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

You might be working for an agency or internal marketing or digital department, where you’re the glue that keeps everyone working well together, and the lubricant (or pick your chosen synonym that sounds better) that keeps everything moving along smoothly. You are an expert communicator with various stakeholders, and you love to build processes and systems that help keep your teams organized. You love the creative elements of the work, and relish in the technical aspects as well. Maybe you’ve run a full agile squad as a scrum master, or you’ve been a project coordinator helping teams stay on track and on time.

We’re not looking for a traditional task master or project manager, but a partner that can help a busy and growing team do their best work. We hope you also have a passion for metrics and performance, because every initiative requires continual monitoring and improvement. Nothing is ever perfect, but if we keep learning from our mistakes and improving on them, that’s what matters most. If you’re excited about building something from the ground up, with lots of positive people around you that are obsessed with doing great work for their customers, this is the job for you.
