The Role:

The Warehouse Supervisor manages the areas and employees in the IQA, RQA, and IC team. Schedules and prepares daily tasks for the team to ensure inventory is being inspected and released in a timely manner. Works with the IC team to improve inventory accuracy and resolves discrepancies. Works with product innovation to set up new SKU’s for inspection prior to product launch. Works with Purchasing to resolve product scrap and failures by either dispositioning to scrap, or return to the vendor. Handles RMA returns by ensuring product is processed back into inventory as quickly as possible and that only product that meets the minimum quality threshold are accepted. Addresses PO discrepancies, Quality issues, and Return inaccuracies with the necessary departments. Continuously works to improve key metrics while practicing and maintaining 5S goals for their department.

 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Manages the employee in the IQA, RQA, RMA, and IC teams.
  • Resolves PO discrepancies.
  • Works with Planning to create a daily schedule by priority for the team.
  • Ensures the inventory accuracy meets the required goals. Works with the IC team to resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensures the RMA’s coming back from the field are processed quickly and only acceptable product is returned into inventory.
  • Works with Product Innovation to set up inspections for new product coming into inventory.
  • Improves and sustains key metrics and highest levels of 5S.
  • SOP & process adoption

 

Required Skills:

  • Computer literate with skills in SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Docs.
  • Analytical experience with the ability to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisions.
  • Ability to recognize the strengths of various employees and delegate tasks accordingly
  • Ability to manage small project teams to develop, execute and complete assignments.
  • Being able to investigate and resolve inventory and PO discrepancies
  • Be efficient with his/her time and proactively helping others.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and independent projects simultaneously in a timely manner with minimal supervision
  • Be efficient with his/her time and proactively helping others.

 

Required Experience:

  • At least a year’s 1 year experience in Quality Assurance
  • SAP proficiency
  • Track record of leading others & positive change in project definition, project delivery, and process improvement.
