Summary:
In this role, you’ll work with a distributed team of frontend, backend, and QA engineers in the Revenue Technology development group. This group is responsible for providing a sales rep facing application that is used by our Direct to Home sales team. This sales team knocks over 10 million doors per year and the applications they use to sell are critical to their success. You’ll play a critical role as a Sr QA Engineer to help deliver a simplified customer onboarding experience that provide high value to the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Apply deep quality engineering expertise to design, execute, and improve test strategies that ensure a highquality customer experience.
- Serve as a technical QA expert, providing guidance on testability, quality risks, and validation approaches to engineering, product management, and UX teams.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to build cohesive, reliable, and scalable solutions through strong partnerships and shared ownership of quality.
- Work crossfunctionally to identify quality gaps, propose solutions, and help drive continuous improvement across engineering teams.
- Build strong working relationships throughout the organization and contribute to a culture of collaboration, transparency, and operational excellence.
- Partner with System Architects and engineering leads to ensure test coverage, integration quality, and alignment within the broader Vivint software ecosystem.
Required Skills:
- A highly selfmotivated quality engineer with proven experience delivering highimpact testing, automation, and quality improvements in complex software environments.
- Strong ability to influence best practices, drive sound technical decisions, and advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Skilled at giving and receiving feedback with a growth mindset and continually improving both personal and team-level quality processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including clear articulation of risks, defects, impact, and recommendations.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability, consistently delivering highquality results despite technical challenges, ambiguity, or roadblocks.
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science preferred)
- 4+ years as a software QA
- Experience in Test Automation
- Playwright, Cyprus, Postman, etc.
- Experience with CI/CD with Azure DevOps
Preferred Experience:
- 5+ years as a software QA
- 2+ years as a senior or lead QA
- Comfortable writing automated tests in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#, depending on stack.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
