The Role:

This QA Engineer role will be responsible for ongoing quality assurance needs of the Salesforce platform. This role is expected to ensure that Salesforce solutions meet functional, performance, and reliability standards prior to release. The QA Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product, and business stakeholders, to design and execute effective test strategies. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce testing practices, quality assurance methodologies, and Agile delivery processes.

 

What you will be working on:

·        Translate company initiatives into actionable requirements within our Salesforce platform.

·        Audit and verify compliance is being met with change management and application of access cross the platform.

·        Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for Salesforce applications, including custom objects, workflows, flows, Lightning components, and Apex code.

·        Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing across Salesforce environments.

·        Validate data integrity, security settings, user permissions, and role-based access controls.

·        Consult between involved technical teams for ongoing efforts, cross-platform integrations, and product strategies.

·        As appropriate, recommend necessary testing strategies for various changes being developed.

·        Help manage and support regression test documentation.

·        Mentor junior QAs to encourage growth within the platform and actively assist with ongoing projects.

·        Providing support to the release management process.

·        Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-deployment validation efforts

·        Maintain a working knowledge of supported Salesforce features and products, as well as upcoming changes that impact the org. (i.e Agentforce and AI implementations, Flows, Data Modeling, Maps, Digital Engagement, Feedback Management, Access and Authentication, Release Updates, Lighting Experience, Feature Retirement)

 

Who you will work with:

You will be working with business stakeholders and varying technical teams across business units to investigate, test, and validate product enhancements and solutions. Throughout each effort you’ll work in conjunction with your fellow engineers to consult and identify any concerns with changes being released and help ensure that a quality experience is being delivered. As needed, you’ll also coordinate external assistance with Salesforce Premier Support.

 

What we’re looking for:

·        High School Diploma and or GED

·        2+ years’ experience testing (manual or automated) within Salesforce Service Cloud

·        3+ years’ experience implementing and maintaining technical projects and systems

·        Basic understanding of out-of-the-box Salesforce capabilities and features

·        Basic analytical perspective and understanding of Salesforce data models and architecture

·        Basic understanding of Salesforce automation and integration capabilities

·        SOQL and/or SQL experience or equivalent

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·        Detailed and deadline oriented

·        Data modeling and governance

·        Certification: Salesforce Certified Administrator

·        Bonus: Experience Building Test Automation

·        Bonus: Experience administrating and customizing Digital Engagement: Messaging

·        Bonus: Salesforce Agentforce/AI experience

·        Bonus: Familiarity with web development technologies such as SOAP, REST, and XML

·        Bonus: Custom Development experience (Apex, Javascript, LWC, Aura)
