The Role: As an Account Creation Specialist, your primary responsibility is to aid Direct to Home Sales representatives during the customer onboarding process. You will communicate via calls/emails as the rep has questions during the process, experiences error(s), or needs assistance with updating information. A background check will be conducted upon consideration for hire.


Starting pay: $17.75/hr + $1 for Spanish speaking agents

Training start date: February 10th


Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Answer calls/emails from internal Vivint employees
  • Troubleshoot sales tools/apps (No experience needed with tools prior to training)
  • Answer questions regarding standard sales processes at Vivint
  • Help to promote a trusted partnership with the sales force and advocate for them and the customer when necessary


Required Skills:

  • Proficient communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Friendly disposition – White glove Customer Service
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to determine the best plan of action
  • Must be able to multi-task while using different internal programs
  • Ability to adapt to system/process changes quickly while retaining new information
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Outlook, Excel etc.)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is preferred, but not necessarily required


Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Be able to type a minimum of 35 wpm
  • Must be able to work 2 Saturdays per month
  • If already a Vivint employee, currently meeting all department performance expectations. Cannot be on any form of a final write up (behavioral, attendance, etc.) 
  • Been in current position minimum of 90 days. 


Required Working Conditions:

  • Work-from-home employees cannot be the primary caregivers for children, other people, or pets while on shift.? 
  • Have a quiet and private location from which to work? 
  • Must be able to provide your own equipment. This entails: 
  • A computer (laptop or desktop) no older than 5-7 years
    • (Please note our remote-based software does NOT work with Apple/Mac products, tablets, or Chromebooks.)
  • Computer must run Windows 10 or higher
  • Computer must have at least 8 GB RAM, 16 GB recommended
  • Computer must have a webcam. 
  • A USB wired headset equipped with a microphone.? 
  • Must have reliable internet: 10 MBPS download and 10 MBPS upload speeds?
  • Must have a wired internet connection
  • A second monitor is strongly recommended if a laptop is being used
  • An external mouse (if using a laptop) 


WORKING CONDITIONS:  

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
