About the Role:

We’re looking for a passionate and eager-to-learn Jr Backend Software Engineer with up to two years of experience to join our growing development team. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to build and maintain backend services using the .NET ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone at an entry level who is excited to grow their technical skills and contribute to real-world projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core/.NET 8+
  • Collaborate with team members to implement new features
  • Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
  • Help troubleshoot and debug backend issues
  • Work with databases to manage data and write queries
  • Contribute to testing efforts, including unit and integration tests
  • Learn and apply best practices in software development and backend architecture Qualifications: Required:
  • Up to 2 years of professional experience in software development (internships or academic projects count!) Familiarity with C# and the .NET framework
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic backend architecture
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn

 

Preferred/Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
  • Interest in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
