The Role:

 

We are looking for a skilled IT Finance Administrator to perform administrative activities of our core platforms for billing/payments and loan management applications. The Finance Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration of our billing/payment systems and loan servicing application.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Run a sequence of daily, weekly, and monthly billing operations tasks that accomplish billing processes including invoicing, payments, refunds, etc.
  • Monitor processes to ensure they are running as expected. Coordinate necessary reviews and approvals with business partners between steps. Notify support team when processes encounter errors or do not run in the expected timeframe. Structure work hours around daily processing schedule which starts at 7:00am, at the latest
  • Manage user accounts in Zuora, Coupa, loan management system and other applications/systems including creating new accounts, managing profiles, and revoking access based on user access requests.
  • Understand SOX controls and act as control owner. Ensure controls are kept current, adhered to and are audited on a regular basis. Work with internal and external auditors to perform and document audits.
  • Participate in all phases of the agile SDLC to manage requirements and communication changes, configurations, and modifications and verify changes are understood by stakeholders.
  • Analyze data in databases, reports, logs, logging tools and other sources to help identify and assess the impact of production issues. Assist with systems operations and admin tasks and duties.

 

 

Required Skills, Experience & Education:

 

 

  • Ability to collect data in various forms and analyze it; Ability to define problems and document desired results.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills with thorough attention to detail
  • Willingness to work in cross-functional teams with all areas of business and IT.
  • Proficiency in Excel reporting, SQL, and Business Intelligence software tools
  • Ability to learn quickly and understand technical process details.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • High analytical mindset, demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirement analysis and documentation
  • Proven ability to work and communicate with technical and non-technical resources.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely – both in writing and verbally.
  • 2+ years of experience in an IT Finance System Administrator/Analyst role
  • Working experience with Zuora, loan management system or other financial applications is a strong plus

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
