Job Summary

  • We’re seeking an Enablement Specialist who will help build the next generation of field tools at Vivint. This person will work closely with cross-functional teams—product, operations, design, and content—to build, maintain, and evolve our CMS (content management system) that powers tools used in the field. Must have strong web design skills (preferably Wix / Wix Studio or equivalent), comfort with business tools like Excel, Asana, and Microsoft 365. Graphic design experience is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of CMS-powered field enablement tools: pages, microsites, dashboards, interactive content, etc.
  • Implement design templates, page layouts, and user interface elements (working in Wix/Wix Studio or comparable platforms).
  • Ensure consistency and usability across tools (UX, branding, accessibility).
  • Work with content creators, trainers, and subject-matter experts to gather requirements and turn them into functional enablement assets.
  • Maintain and update existing content and tools, version control, and content workflows.
  • Use data and feedback from users in the field to improve tools/content — measure effectiveness, optimize.
  • Coordinate with operations, product, and IT to ensure CMS integrations (if applicable), permissions, and deployments are smooth.
  • Produce and manage documentation: style guides, process documents, CMS usage guides.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features, bugs, and enhancements for the CMS/field tools.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4+ years of experience working in web design/web content roles (depending on level).
  • Hands-on experience with Wix / Wix Studio or another modern CMS/web builder platform (Squarespace, Webflow, WordPress, etc.).
  • Strong familiarity with business productivity software: Excel, Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint), Asana (or similar project management tools).
  • Solid communication skills: able to translate requirements into design/content, and explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently; good organizational skills.
  • Comfortable iterating, testing, and refining based on feedback.
  • Detail-oriented, with awareness of user experience, branding, and consistency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Formal training or experience in graphic design, visual design, or UI/UX.
  • Basic skills in image editing/design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, etc.).
  • Experience with frontend technologies (basic HTML, CSS).
  • Prior experience working with CMS integrations (APIs, embedding components, etc.).
  • Familiarity with learning/training content or enablement workflows.
  • Familiarity with custom GPTs, LLMs, and other AI technologies.
  • Experience in or with field operations (understanding what field tools are, constraints like connectivity, device types, offline support).

Competencies & Soft Skills

  • Curious mindset and eagerness to learn new tools or platforms.
  • Ability to receive and give feedback.
  • Problem-solving mindset — often the constraints are around data, device, and field usage, so one must think creatively.
  • Strong collaboration across departments.
  • Quality orientation: making sure the product (field tool) is reliable and usable.

Working Conditions / Other Details

  • Full-time.
  • May require periodic travel / in-person collaboration with field teams or other offices.
  • Hybrid work is possible (depending on Vivint policy).
  • Some tasks may have tight timelines; the ability to be flexible.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: $75-$80k per year, depending on experience.
  • Benefits: health/dental/vision, retirement matching, paid time off, etc.
