Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Website Manager to own our website strategy, content publishing and site health. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in website management, with a proven track record of successfully updating content, conducting AB testing, ensuring quality assurance, optimizing UX/UI design, making design enhancements and recommendations, and implementing accessibility standards.

 


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Operations:

  • Develop and execute the website strategy to drive user engagement, supporting marketing campaigns, digital sales and existing customer interactions with our brand
  • Update and maintain website content to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • For operational enhancements/improvements; identify, solution, and ensure digital best practices are employed and implemented
  • Adhere to brand guidelines that are in place to grow the Direct Energy brand and ensure consistent visual experience across digital properties
  • Remain current on the latest technology, interactive tools, industry trends, content management, usability and design methodologies
  • Conduct AB testing to optimize user experience and conversion rates for various user tasks
  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure the website functions smoothly and efficiently
  • Optimize UX/UI design to enhance user experience and drive engagement
  • Implement accessibility standards to ensure the website is inclusive and user-friendly for all individuals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align website goals with overall business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in website management, proactively bringing forward ideas for testing and implementation
  • Proactively employ tactics to test and implement bug fixes, drive enhancements based on data
  • As required, partner closely with IT, product owners, designers and others within digital teams to ensure consistent and effective user centric journeys across digital platforms
  • Develop strong relationships across corporate teams to collaboratively build scalable solutions that can be easily applied across regions
  • Evaluate and implement various web tools to drive better performance of digital properties
  • Perform other dutiess as assigned

 

Working Conditions:

  • Remote or hybrid available
  • Open office environment
  • Some overtime required as special projects arise

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Post Secondary Degree or equivalent, and minimum of 7-10 years of experience in website management
  • Proficiency with enterprise content management systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Adobe Target, Launch, SEMRush, Contentsquare
  • 5-7 years experience with Adobe Experience Manager
  • Proven experience in updating website content, conducting AB testing, ensuring quality assurance, optimizing UX/UI design, and implementing accessibility standards
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation and teamwork skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
  • Proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Power BI
  • Microsoft Office Suite
